The orchestra has garnered 17 Grammy awards and 20 Down Beat and JazzTimes Readers and Critics Poll awards. Carmen Bradford was the featured soloist with the Count Basie Orchestra for nine years, and as if that wasn't enough, she's also performed with such greats as Wynton Marsalis, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra.
